Robert Neal Parrott

Robert Neal Parrott, 61, passed away on May 3, 2026. Born August 21, 1964, Robert will be remembered as a cherished presence in the lives of those who knew him—steady in devotion, generous in spirit, and thoughtful in the ways that mattered most.

Robert graduated from Irmo High School and went on to study as an Economics Major at USC. His commitment to learning and to building a meaningful life carried into a career in Management, where he brought the same kind-hearted approach and considerate attention that defined him beyond the workplace.

After retirement, Robert’s devotion to family became even more central. He was a devoted grandfather who cherished time with his family, especially the moments shared with his grandson, Ryan. He is survived by his sons, Tyler Parrott and Nicholas Parrott and his grandson, Ryan Lee Parrott.; he was predeceased by his parents, Newton Adison Parrott and Virginia Anne Parrott.

A loyal supporter of USC Football, Robert took joy in the traditions and togetherness that come with cheering on a beloved team—another way he connected with family and community through shared pride and familiar Saturdays.

Robert’s faith shaped his life and his legacy. A Christian who worshipped Jesus Christ, he held close the value of helping the less fortunate. That devotion was reflected in the quiet, consistent generosity he showed through donating clothing, money, and items to support Sharing Gods Love. His kindness was not performative; it was lived, offered with sincerity and care.

A memorial service will be held at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home - Lexington Chapel, 503 N. Lake Dr, Lexington, South Carolina 29072, on May 17, 2026, beginning at 2:00 pm.

The family would like to thank Ashley Hicks who helped guide us through this process as well as Heather & Robert Grooms and Michael Saul for their support and presence the day of his passing. Also to all of our friends who have been there for us throughout these past two weeks.
