CHAPIN -
Roger William Elliott, age 69, of Lake Murray, Chapin, died February 20, 2014. Roger was born on June 26, 1944 in Denver, Colorado to the late Ivan and Margaret Elliott. He graduated from Annandale High School in Annadale, Virginia. He played baseball for the University of South Carolina and graduated from USC in 1966 with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Business Administration. He is a member of the USC Association of Letterman, Phi Kappa Sigma Fraternity, and Life Member of the USC Alumni Association. Roger was an Operations Officer at the former C&S Bank and the owner of Elliott Enterprises. He is predeceased by his son, Whitney Elliott. He is survived by his sister Jean (Ed) Delano of Warsaw, VA; son William (Jennifer) Elliott; grandsons George and Henry Elliott and granddaughter Ella Elliott of Lakeland, FL; lifelong friends Buddy and Lynn Barnes of Chapin. Roger was an avid golfer and devoted fan of Gamecock sports. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
