Born in Pond Branch, SC, she was the daughter of the late Novia Taylor Kyzer and Crosson Kyzer. She is survived by her son, Donald Hendrix (Ginny); son-in-law, Dwight Corley; grandsons, Darren Corley (Cathy), John A. Hendrix (Amber) and Wilson T. Outlaw, IV; granddaughter, Julianna H. Shetterly (Tyler); great-grandchildren, Scott Corley, John Corley, Ellaree Rose Hendrix and John Crosson Hendrix. She is predeceased by her husband of 67 years, John W. Hendrix; daughter, Ann H. Corley; son, John Douglas Hendrix; grandson, Brian Corley; twin sister, Nancy Weed; sisters, Miriam Jones, Eileen Snelgrove and brother, Vasco Kyzer.
She loved working with her husband in the office, doing yard work, going to church, Sunday school, choir, and being involved in ministry.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 19 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Memorials may be made to Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church.
