LEXINGTON – A graveside services for Sarah C. Storey, 92, of Lexington, will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Lexington Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.
Sarah was born on February 9, 1921 in Batesburg SC, to the late Capers Cockrell and Nannie Howard Cockrell and passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013.
Sarah was Co-Owner of Storey’s Florist.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Storey of Lexington and Gail Branham of Columbia; a son, Robbie Storey of Lexington; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Sarah is predeceased by her husband Sam Storey; a sister, Nomie Sox and 2 brothers, M.C. and Elzey Cockrell.
