

Stanley "Stan" Neil Roach, 68, of Forest Acres, South Carolina, passed away on September 18, 2025. Born in Columbia, SC, on December 30, 1956, Stan was a lifelong resident of Forest Acres and a beloved father, grandfather, uncle, and friend.
Stan was a proud graduate of Keenan High School and went on to earn a degree in Civil Engineering from Midlands Technical College. He built a dedicated career as a long-time employee of State Printing and later worked at S&S Tire in Columbia before retiring in 2023.
A passionate sports enthusiast, Stan was a loyal supporter of Gamecock Football, Women's Gamecock Basketball, and Baseball.
He grew up playing sports and went on to coach many young athletes in the Forest Acres community, leaving a lasting impact on countless lives.
Stan’s greatest joy in life was his family. He deeply loved his daughter, Andrea Westmoreland, and treasured every moment spent with her, his son-in-law Tripp Westmoreland, and his beloved grandchildren, Brantley and Chesney. He was also a devoted uncle to his niece, Ashleigh Hohmann, and great-uncle to Shane Porter, Jaden Porter, Chloe Porter, and Fiona Taylor.
Stan had a passion for good cooking shows and never missed an episode of Gunsmoke or The Andy Griffith Show.
His warm heart, easy smile, and gentle spirit will be missed immensely by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold Roach, Sr. and Cynthia Roach, and his brother, Harold Roach, Jr.
While his absence leaves a void in the hearts of his loved ones, they take comfort in knowing Stan is now at peace in the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 P.M on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at Caughman Harman Funeral Home of Lexington, 503 N. Lake Dr., Lexington, SC 29072.
