MORGANTOWN, WV – A Celebration of Life for Stephen Auston Morris will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) at www.AFSP.org in memory and honor of Auston. Otherwise, please give to anyone you feel needs a friend like Auston.
Auston touched so many lives with his quick wit, creativity and unselfish kindness for everyone, especially strangers. The lives of those who knew him, even just a little, may seem a little darker these days, as we all have lost a shining light. But for many, he leaves us smiling through our tears.
Auston will be missed every day by his father, Stephen L. Morris; his mother, Keri Glenn Morris; step-mother, Holly Morris; sister, Tyler; brother, Houston; step-brother, Zach Henry and grandmother, Tricia Glenn. He is survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends, but now rests with his grandfathers, Roy Lee Morris and H. Stephen Glenn; Grammy, Annette Morris, and his uncle, “Fish” Lee Morris. His love lives on through his cherished God-daughter, Stella, and his best friend, Craig.
