She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Matt Poland of Alcoa, TN; brother, Rev. Robert Henry Fink of the home; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and David Thomas of Lexington, SC; grandchildren, Cody Jumpp of Walland, TN, Cory Jumpp of West Columbia, SC, Brandon (Michelle) Poland of Walterboro, SC, Matthew (Amber) Poland of Gilbert, SC, and Tyler (Dixie) Poland of Columbia, SC; great-grandchildren, Kami and Mason Jumpp, Brandon, Cayce, Caleb, Brantley, Gatlin, McKenzie, Jaxon and Dawson Poland.
Susan was a lifelong resident of Lexington, SC. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends. Susan was a member of Victory Fellowship Church in Lexington, SC.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Retha Bright Fink; her husband, Charles Wesley Mitchell, and father, Henry “Buck” Fink.
Visitation will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home – Lexington Chapel, 503 North Lake Drive, Lexington, SC 29072, with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service at Celestial Memorial Gardens, 3111 Delree St, West Columbia, SC 29170.
