Timur was an electrical engineer and worked at Columbus Steel Castings in Columbus, Ohio before he came to retire in Columbia, S.C.
Being a father and grandpa came naturally to Timur. He was their role model. His family appreciated his kind and caring character, his stoicism, positivity, and sense of humor.
Timur was originally from Kyrgyzstan but the United States was his home for the last 23 years. He loved this country and called it his “true home.” He enjoyed to travel around the United States and took many trips with his family to places like Niagara Falls, Memphis, Los Angeles, Outer Banks, and Virginia Beach. He enjoyed to travel by the car he loved-his Ford Mustang. His favorite place to visit was the ocean. He went to the beach every summer. Timur enjoyed life and had a specific passion for music. He called himself an audiophile. He was enthusiastic about equipment for playing recorded sound and its quality. He also enjoyed live music and went to concerts of Rolling Stones, Def Leppard, Cinderella, Metallica, and Fleetwood Mac.
Timur is survived by his wife, Natalia; daughter Anna; son-in-law, Alex, and two grandchildren, Michael and Timothy.
A private burial at sea will be planned for him in Charleston, SC where Timur may rest with gentle rocking of the ocean. His life will be celebrated and he will be forever missed and remembered.
