Trey was charismatic, funny and determined. He was a carpenter by trade and started a successful company in Pensacola at the age of 26. He was a loving fiancé, caring brother, generous friend, and cherished his dogs, Mikey and Price, as if they were his children. He enjoyed hiking, traveling and relaxing at home with Angela and the pups.
Growing up, Trey attended Chapin Baptist Church. After moving away, he never lost touch with the Lord. Trey’s Pawpaw was his best friend and lived every day to make him proud. In his time here, he truly changed lives by being in them. He was loved by so many and will be forever remembered.
Trey is survived by his fiancée, Angela Shapiro; mother, Charity Chavis; brother, Matthew Bonds (Katie); sister, Natalie Simpson (Chase); niece, Kylie Simpson; Mawmaw, Barbara Jones; uncle, Ricky Chavis (Candy) and grandmother, Carlene Bonds. He was predeceased by his father, George Bonds and Pawpaw, Rick Jones.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Chapin Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
