Charlotte Louise Kirby

Charlotte Louise Kirby, 90, Liberty, MO, passed June 17, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospice House. Funeral services are 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 22nd at the Liberty Christian Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Dearborn Cemetery, Dearborn, MO. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the Liberty Christian Church.

Charlotte was born December 16, 1925 to George W. and Mildred Kirby in Dearborn, MO. She worked 20 years at Wheeling Steel and 23 years at Nationwide Paper. Charlotte was a member of the Liberty Christian Church and a long standing member of the church choir. She volunteered at Alexander Doniphan School helping youngsters in reading. Also, for a number of years she volunteered with the Liberty Hospital Auxiliary. Charlotte was preceded in death by her sister, Arlyne Boggess-Huffman.

Survivors include a niece, Connie Carder; nephew, Harry Lee Boggess; 3 great nieces, Allison Carder Deatherage, Britni Boggess Eggers and husband, Karl, and Sydney Boggess Owen and husband, Matt; 1 great nephew, Kirby Wayne Carder; 3 great great nieces , Carder Deatherage, Wren Eggers and Arie Owen; and 3 cousins, Jackie Hull, Ronnie Foster and Janice West.
