A rosary service will be conducted at 10:45 a.m. and the Memorial Mass will follow at 11 a.m., all at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Inurnment will occur on a future date.
Harold was born on October 11th, 1935 to Ann and Edward Raunig in Great Falls, Montana. He attended and graduated from the Chester, Montana High School, where he was active in several different sports. He was later a member of the Jaycees.
Harold married Clare Selinger in 1958 and they had two children together, Jamie and Michael. Sadly, Clare passed away in 2007. While deeply saddened by his loss, he again found love when he met Beverly Woodbury. They married in 2008, and overnight Harold’s family doubled with the addition of step-children and grandchildren.
Harold was a member of the Montana Air National Guard and spent most of his working life as a Parts Manager at a Ford and Lincoln dealership. Later in his career, he was the manager of a parts supply company, Factory Motor Parts. After many years of hard work, he took his well-deserved retirement.
Harold greatly enjoyed the outdoors, and he loved to cook. It was his passion, and there was nothing off-limits. He liked to experiment with ingredients and meals; if he thought he could make it, he would. When not cooking, he enjoyed spending time with his family and supporting his grandkids at their sporting events.
Harold never knew a stranger, and he blessed many people with his infectious smile and witty sense of humor.
Harold was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Joseph and Ann Burrows; his father, Edward Raunig; his first wife, Clare; and numerous other relatives.
Harold is survived by his wife, Beverly; his daughter, Jamie Raunig; his son, Michael (Lisa) Raunig; his grandchildren, Kyle, Emily, and Carly; his siblings, Don Raunig, Kathleen Wojtala, Richard (Cyrilla) Burrows, Diana (Kerry) Patrick; his sister-in-law, Kathie Raunig; several step-children and step-grandchildren; and many other family members, friends, and loved ones.
