Marguerite Ann Foreman, 88, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020 at the Brookdale College Square Assisted Living Facility, in Overland Park, KS. Marguerite, was born December 30, 1931 to William Newcomb and Marguerite (Galbreath) Newcomb in Ferndale, Michigan. She graduated from Ferndale High School, and continued with her education with Webber College in Babson Park, Florida with a bachelor’s degree in retail marketing. While there, she met James Warren Foreman who was an Air Force flight instructor. The couple were married and had two children Robert and Susan. Marguerite spent most of her time raising the two children and volunteering with many groups. In her free time, she enjoyed golfing, and traveling with her husband. She also enjoyed cooking and entertaining family and friends. Marguerite also volunteered with the Liberty Hospital Pink Ladies. She had a strong passion to help those in need her entire life.
Marguerite was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 64 years, and two sisters; Charlotte Brown and Carolyn Golby.
She is survived by her son Robert(Karli) Foreman of Smithville, MO and her daughter Susan of Liberty, MO. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her angel on earth, Cruz Cardoza, and the staff at the Brookside College Square, for taking such great care of their mom. Family would ask that any donations be sent to the Alzheimer’s Assoc. in Marguerite’s name.
