With deep love and sadness, the family of Tamara “Tami” Lynne Sevart announces her passing on May 15, 2026, at the age of 66, after a long and courageous battle with Posterior Cortical Atrophy (PCA), a rare neurodegenerative disease.
After spending a week in hospice care surrounded by family and loved ones, Tami passed in the early morning hours with her husband Ric by her side.
Tami was born on July 25, 1959 in Topeka, Kansas, and dedicated much of her life to caring for others and creating meaningful memories with family and friends. She loved baking, scrapbooking, sewing, decorating and crafting for the home, romance movies, playing games, and time spent together with the people she loved most. She also adored her dog, Tillie, who brought her great comfort.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ric Sevart; her daughters Rachel, Melissa, and Tania; her son Christopher; and her five beloved grandchildren.
Tami’s family will carry forward the love, kindness, and warmth she shared so generously throughout her life.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Tamara Sevart Memorial Fund. Additional details for contributions will be shared with family and friends soon.
