A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 2:00 pm, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Liberty, officiated by Rev. Buster Seacrest. The family will receive friends Monday, April 11, 2016 from 1:00 pm till 2:00 pm at Loflin Funeral Home, Liberty.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents Allen Peter and Mary Frances Burgett, Sr.; son, Jeffery Wade Burgett; brother, Jeff Burgett

Allen is survived by his wife, Linda Burgett; daughters, Patricia Holder (Thomas), Jacksonville, Fl., Diana Jones (Kevin), Cana, VA.; Allen Peter Burgett III (Fiona Shidan-McIver), Saint Paul, Mn; brother, Wayne Burgett (Lorna); sisters, Pam, Cynthia, Denise; granddaughters, Sarah Holder, Catlin Jones; and grandsons, Tommy Holder, Steven Jones and Avery Jones.
