Family visitation at Loflin Funeral Home at 212 West Swannanoa Ave., Liberty, NC between hours of 2:00 and 4:00 P.M. on 10/27/2011. Graveside Service, at Holly Springs Baptist Church, Holly Springs, NC at 2:00 P.M. on 10/28/2011.

Doris was preceded in death by her father and mother, William Ben Baker and Flora of Holly Springs, NC; her husband, Kermit Wesley Marion of High Point, NC and her grandson, Adam Cameron LaVoie of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

She is survived by her:

Son’s family, Kermit Michael Marion and Gretchen, and his children:

John Marion and wife, Ann and their grandson, Sammy Castle and wife, Diana and their great grandchildren Morgan and Ashley Meyer;

Eric Steven Marion & wife, Melissa Lee and their grandchildren, Callie Rose and Emma Ruth;

Clay Daniel Marion and their grandchildren, Mikaela Grace and Quinn Matthew;

and

Michael Casey Marion and wife, Sunju and their granddaughter, Lena Jane.

Daughter’s family, Marcia Karen LaVoie and daughter, Christie Michelle LaVoie and her granddaughter, Heather Ann Basham.

Son’s family, William Ben Marion & Linda Lee and his daughter, Shari Arlene Friedman.

Sister’s family, Mary Lou Watkins and her son, William Anthony Watkins and wife, Shannon and her grandchildren, Justin Walker Ledet, Cable MacRae, Parker Lily, Ava Greer and Canaan Daniel Watkins.
