

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Tabernacle United Methodist Church with Rev. John Woods, Rev. Aaron Moss and Rev. Wesley Hall, Jr. officiating; burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home in Liberty.
Edra was the daughter of the late Buck Townsend and Julie Harvel Townsend and was also preceded in death by her husband, Willard Harvey Hall; her son, Wesley Leonard Hall, Sr.; brothers, Leonard, Eddie, Kelly, and William Townsend; and sisters, Minnie Austin, Lee Ora Duncan and Beulah Loggains.
Surviving is her daughter, Carol Keefer and husband, Tom of Pleasant Garden; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Coble Hall of Climax; three grandsons, Tom Keefer III and wife, Carole of Morehead City, NC, Brian Keefer and wife, Angie of Lexington, SC, and Rev. Wesley Hall, Jr. of Level Cross-Siloam, Dodson, NC and six great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church.
The family is eternally grateful to the nurses and caregivers at Clapp’s Nursing Center for the love and kindness shown to Edra while in their care.
