Evelyn Quate Vickery

The funeral will be held on November 8, 2012 at 3 PM, at Julian United Methodist Church. Burial will follow the service at Gilmore Memorial Park, Julian, NC.

Mrs. Vickery was an active member of Julian United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She enjoyed her church and taking care of her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Robert Lee Vickery and son, Kenneth Vickery. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca and Steven Burton of Julian, Linda Kay and Sonny Jessup of Burlington, Donna Allen of Cary; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and sister, Hilda Williams of Julian.

The family would like to thank the staff members at Clapp’s Assisted Living and Nursing Center who extended kindness and loving care for their mother.

The family will receive guest before the service from 1-3 PM at Julian United Methodist Church, 2105 NC Highway 62 East, Julian, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Julian United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 35, Julian, NC 27283.
