James Clifford “J.C.” Bunton, 64, of Liberty passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Randolph Hospice House.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, 212 West Swannanoa Avenue, Liberty; burial will follow in Liberty Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, 4616 Liberty Grove Road, Liberty. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Loflin Funeral Home of Liberty.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Bunton and sister-in-law, Frances Bunton.

Surviving are his parents Andrew Thomas “Andy” and Lucille Shore “Lucy” Bunton; sisters, Patricia Bunton Kirkman and Carolyn Bunton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Randolph County, 416 Vision Drive, Asheboro, NC 27203.
