He was the son of the late Malfus Samuel and Betty Frances Ferguson; and was also preceded in death by his brother, Steven Andrew Ferguson along with a host of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He leaves behind his two daughters, Amber Lynn Ferguson of Coleridge, and Amy Ferguson Mauck and husband, Bradye Mauck of Ramseur, along with two grandchildren, Abigail Ferguson and Charlie Mauck; the mother of his children, Susan Ferguson; special friend, Donna Langley; and his grand-dog, Moose, whom he called “Ol’ Buddy Boy”. He is also survived by many extended family members and great friends.
Jeff had an immense love for animals, big or small (even the bugs he would catch and release). He enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family among other things. He loved to watch the sunrise and never failed to “Thank the Lord” for another one. He loved to show off his cooking and took pride in his garden, and always had a refrigerator full of Pepsi. Jeff was a praying man, a proud father, paw-paw/grandpa, and a devoted friend. If you needed something, and he had it to give, he would. He was hardworking, loving, and maybe a bit stubborn. To know him was to love him, and to be loved by him was everything. He was loved beyond words, and will be missed beyond measure.
