A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 17 at 2:00 p.m. at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel; burial will follow in Gilmore Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
He is preceded in death by one grandson, William Travis Douds.
Larry is survived by his wife of 46 years, Lela Sawyer Ferguson of the home; two daughters, Lisa Ferguson Dawley and husband, Thomas of Pleasant Garden and Michelle Renee Ferguson Douds of New London; four grandchildren, Christopher Dean May, Christopher Wayne Dawley, Brittney Nicole Dawley, Brandon Lee Dawley and one great-grandson, Christopher Greg May.
