Leroy Scott Ferree Jr.

Scott and his family would like to invite you to a casual celebration of his life at Southeast Community Center, 6014 Liberty Road, Climax on Sunday, January 27 from 3 until 5 p.m. or other times at the home at 6059 Smithwood Road, Liberty.

Scott was preceded in death by his brother Gregory Ferree and his grandparents, Graham and Ella Mae Hicks and Hodgin and Mabel Ferree.

Scott is survived by his wife, Rita of the home; sons, Derek of Florida and Matthew of the home; parents, Leroy Scott Ferree, Sr. and Bonnie Hicks Ferree; brothers, Roger Ferree, Wesley Ferree, and Craig Ferree all of Guilford County.

Scott has been a life resident of Guilford County and has been employed with Gilbarco for the past 32 years. Scott enjoyed riding his Harley, Nascar, fishing and hanging out at RB’s with friends. Scott loved his time spent at Holden Beach with family and friends. Scott enjoyed meeting people and never met a stranger. He was a faithful blood donor and was also an organ donor.

Special thanks to all of Scott’s friends who helped during his time of need and especially, Clyde, Robbie and Bill. Thank you! We would also like to thank Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro.
