A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Gilmore Memorial Park, Julian, NC, officiated by Reverend Rick Carter. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home in Liberty, NC.
Rick was the son of the late Jesse Franklin and Dora Murphy Shelton Frye and was also preceded in death by 4 sisters and 5 brothers.
Rick is survived by his daughter, Angela Frye ; sons, Rickey Frye (Evelyn) , Walter Frye (Pamela), Neal Frye (Linda) and Mark Frye (Sheila); granddaughters, Kelly Davis, Amy Stewart, Joanna Frye, Brooke Stevens, Emily Ramsey, Heather Frye, Jesse Frye; grandsons, Nicholas Frye, Zachery Frye; Twelve great grandchildren; sisters, Onita Mitchell, Katrine Sardinia; brother, Homer Frye.
