Mrs. Sherry E. Hicks, 65, died Sunday, February 14, 2010 at her residence.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Loflin Funeral Home Chapel in Liberty; officiated by Pastor Darrell Garner, burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Liberty. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hicks was the daughter of the late Charlie A. and Margaret Way Mabrey. She was also preceded in death by two brothers; James Robert Mabrey and Ronald Lee Mabrey; one sister; Sandra K. Terrell, and one step-son Mike Hicks.
Surviving is her husband Bobby G. Hicks of the home; daughters, Deborah Lewis of Siler City, Laurie A. Mabe of High Point, Tara L. Reynolds of Robbins, one son; Michael W. Mabe of Siler City, step-daughters; Lori Hicks of Staley, Jean Whitt of Liberty, one step-son; Greg Hicks of Siler City, seven grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
