A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, 212 West Swannanoa Avenue, Liberty, NC 27298. The family will receive friends after the service.
Stanley was the son of the late Harry Joseph Drewery and Faye Cummings Drewery.
He leaves behind his wife, Wanda Williams Drewery of Snow Camp, NC; stepsons, Tom Tooker (Patty) and Joshua Buchanan; stepdaughters, Pamela Buchanan and Amanda Phillips; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Stanley served his country in the US Coast Guard. After his service, he went on to work 50 years as an Engineer for GE Aviation in Wilmington, NC where he proudly earned the nickname “Stacio”. He was loved by many and will be missed by his friends and family.
