David Tygenhof was born in Newark, New Jersey to Gussie Birnbaum and Charles Tygenhof on March 1, 1946. He grew up in Miami Beach, Florida where he enjoyed the surf and sand. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Army. He was a very loving and supportive father, excellent athlete and loved playing and watching sports of all kinds.
David Tygenhof is survived by his daughter, Karene Tygenhof, and his sister, Susan Clements.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, a private burial for David Tygenhof will take place at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL with only immediate family attending.
