Haven will always be remembered for his kindness and genuine smile. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Haven and Joan have been great friends of ours from the beginning. We always shared the same pew at First United Methodist Church in Boca Raton. Haven will be missed and remembered by both of us. He is in God's hands now, may he rest in Peace.

My wife Phyllis and  I met Haven ( and  Joan) about 25 years ago when we all volunteered for the food pantry at Trinity UM Church in LHP. We quickly became like family. Eventually we both left to attend different churches but remained in touch. We enjoyed our dinners together where we shared stories of our travels and lives.
Haven was a very intelligent, interesting gentleman with a great talent for woodworking. His spirit and love lives on with us in our time spent with Joan. This wonderful Man of God will be greatly missed but we will someday enjoy his company again in Heaven.

A warm and kind gentleman has joined the Lord's choir.  Haven will be missed by all of us he left behind but never forgotten.

We eventually both moved on to new churches but remained friends. Haven was such a great man. Very intelligent, interesting and talented with his woodworking skills. We enjoyed getting together for dinner through the years and keeping up on each other’s lives. 
It’s with sadness that we had to say goodbye and this Man of God will be truly missed but one day we will enjoy his company again in Heaven!  Here on earth his memory and spirit remains with us as Joan remains a a part of our lives.

I first met Haven while working with Bechtel Power in 1970's when the office was in Gaithersburg, Maryland, where a Home Depot now stands.  I worked with Haven for about 10 years on the Calvert Cliff Nuclear Power Plant.  He was a good worker and a great friend.  He taught me a lot as a young engineer at the time. We will all miss him and we will keep him in our prayers.

Will always remember Haven. First met Haven in November 1967 when I joined Bechtel in Gaithersburg, MD.  I had just emigrated from England.  When I lived in an apartment in Fairfax, Virginia we used to Car Pool together to Gaithersburg. Haven & Joan attended our Wedding in 1971 and ended up living close together in Loudon County, Virginia.
A great Human Being.  Will miss our telephone chats over the years.  Just talked to Joan by Phone.  God Bless,   Mike & Pat Archdeacon

My dad was a wonderful man: Cub Scoutmaster, Boy Scoutmaster, Order of The Arrow, Soccer Referee, excellent [!] camper, wood-worker, craftsman, teacher, example, and many other things that I can't even list... I'll miss him for the rest of my life, but am SO very thankful for the privilege of knowing him, knowing his sense of humor, and being his son for 56+ years. He is in a better place now--no 'tired' feelings any longer, and I believe I'll get to see him again someday. I celebrate my dad, Haven Pagans, and the portion of his life that I knew and loved him. I will forever treasure the wonderful memories we have of him as my dad and grandfather to our daughter. Thank you, Dad--for everything. I love you and miss you!
