Henry C Schoepp Sr.

Henry C. Schoepp, born on December 21, 1933 in Cross Plains, WI died, at his home, on February 7, 2026 in Lighthouse Point, FL.

Raised in rural Wisconsin, Henry married his wife, June, on May 8th1954 before being sent to Japan while serving in the Army (Korean War Veteran). Upon his return to the states, he met his first son (Steven) and attended the University of Wisconsin on the GI bill. Before leaving Wisconsin, he would have three more children (Gary, Jayne and Beth). His family moved to Lighthouse Point, Florida for his job with Lundy Technical Services/Trans Technology Serivces, a defense contractor. He would have two more children (Nanette and Henry Jr.) in Florida.

He retired from his Director of Purchasing position when he was 61. In retirement he enjoyed his family, his faith, football (especially the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers), and traveling the US.

He supported Catholic Education, after attending Catholic school himself in Wisconsin, his children attended Saint Elizabeth Catholic School and Cardinal Gibbons High School.

He was a founding member at Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Church and a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus.

In addition to sharing his faith, Henry created many family traditions, like his Christmas vest and Snickers with football games. His lifelong wish was for his family to continue to grow, gather, and enjoy life together.

He celebrated his children and grandchilden: Steven (deceased) (wife: Barbi and child: Michelle), Gary, Jayne (husband: Don and children: Anthony, Michael and Nicholas), Beth (deceased), Nanette (husband: Scott and children: Scott Jr. and Jackson), Henry Jr. (wife: Diane and children: Owen and Alora). He cherished his 6 great grandchildren (Micah, Olivia, Noah, Cambria, Francesca and Adriana).

He is survived by his wife of more than 71 years, June Schoepp, Lighthouse Point, FL and his sister, Eunice Schmitz, Waunakee, WI and numerous relatives in Wisconsin and the Dakotas.

His funeral mass will be on Wednesday, February 25th, 2026 at Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 2700 NE 36th Street, Lighthouse Point, FL at 12:00 PM.
