Born on April 26, 1986, Jennia was a brilliant and beautiful person, both inside and out. She loved God, her family, and her friends with all her heart, and fittingly, her heart was the last to give up as she lost her battle with cancer.
At just 18 months old, she underwent open-heart surgery to correct a heart murmur. What once seemed like a weakness became her greatest strength. Although she could have become a wonderful doctor, lawyer, or business administrator, God had other plans for her.
Jennia was a unique blend of toughness, fairness, and love, all wrapped in one beautiful soul. She is remembered fondly for her love of collecting snow globes, mugs, and thimbles or bells from gas stations during family road trips from Connecticut to Florida. She always challenged others to be their best, and even in her final days, she shared her strength with those around her, never being a burden.
She leaves behind her loving mother, Maria; her brothers, Achilles, Lauro Jr., and Nilcirley; her sisters-in-law, Juliana, Lizandra and Florencia; and her nephews, Victoria, Michael, Laura, Raphael, and Sabastian. Though they will miss her terribly, they will never forget the strength, love, and joy she brought into their lives.
As she goes to be with the Lord God, we take comfort in knowing she is at peace, and we will hold her memory in our hearts forever.
