Ashton JaMar Whitfield

Ashton JaMar Whitfield, 10 days old, passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Columbus Nationwide Children’s Hospital. He was born in Columbus on July 25, 2016 to Shaton Whitfield and Jacaqueline Jackson of Lima.

Baby Ashton is survived by his parents, his siblings,Kahliq Wash, Za’Niya Jackson, Sa’Miya Whitfield, Cherish Whitfield and Kyren Whitfield. He was also survived by his Aunts and Uncles, Ashli Callahan, DaShaun Callahan, Jr., Airika Callahan, Aizia Callahan, Fa’Qwacia Simon, Kalvin Lasenby, II and Demontay Liles; his grandparents, Regina Jackson, Melinda Whitfield, Donna Callahan, DaShaun Callahan, Sr. and Keith Durr. He also leaves to cherish his memory, his great grandparents, Martha Whitfield, Jacqueline Jackson, Cheryl Callahan, Ronald (Greta) Callahan, Sylvia Walker, Sabrina Florence and Leslie Henderson, Sr.; and his godmothers, Gerrica Simpson and Rochelle Clay.

Ashton was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Willie Jackson and Floyd Hamilton; an uncle, Demond Liles, Jr and a cousin, Jataven Dukes.

Funeral services for Ashton will be held 12 noon, Friday, August 19, 2016 at SIFERD-ORIANS FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Bruce Monford, officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 12 noon, the time of the service also at the funeral home.
