Catherine Frances Mawhorr Crawford

Catherine Frances Crawford, 100 years young, passed away 4:55 p.m. Thursday afternoon, January 8, 2015 at Springview Manor Nursing Home. She was born on December 31, 1914 in Auglaize County, Ohio to Roger Roy and Ida Mae (Riggle) Mawhorr and they preceded her in death. On September 18, 1932, she married Ivan Samuel Crawford and he passed away June 18, 1980.

Catherine was employed at Westinghouse; and retired from there in 1974. She was the mother of one son, Daniel Crawford who is deceased. She is survived by her grandchildren, Cindy (Rick) Wall of Lima, Bill (Rachel) Crawford of Bremerton, Washington, Tim Crawford of Waterford, CT. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Terry Crawford. Her survivors also include her great grandchildren, Bob Wolfe, Sherri Dempsey, Brian Dempsey, Chris (Brandy) Garee, Staci (Clyde) White, Miranda Crawford, Jesse Crawford, Rick (Kim) Wall, Jr. and Tiffany Wall. Her great great grandchildren, Breeona Garee, Kathy “Sis” Garee, Dallas Garree, Kylie White, Brady White, Daniel Crawford, Cayden White, Averi White, Katie Wolfe, Kaleb Wolfe, Zakk Crawford, Landen Rogge, Brady Rogge, Aiden Rogge, Leo Rogge, Evan Wall, Megan Wall and Hannah Ford. Jacob Garee is deceased. She is also survived by two great great great grandchildren, Karsen and Maxton Garee. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Winifred Mawhorr of Lima and preceded in death by the following siblings, Helen Ferrel, Elizabeth Layton, Maxine Putt, Billy James Mawhorr, Roger Mawhorr and two step sisters Susie Eagy and Marie Loughrige.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 12, 2015 at SIFERD-ORIANS FUNERAL HOME, with entombment to follow in Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Family and friends may call Sunday, January 11 from 2-4p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at SIFERD-ORIANS FUNERAL HOME.
