

Donald L. Kohl, 76, of Lima, died at 3:33 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, in Lima Manor surrounded by his family. He was born July 2, 1939, in Lima to Charles Edward and Olive Marie (Miller) Kohl who preceded him in death. On July 26, 1958, he married Joyce G. Huysman who survives.
Also surviving are three sons: Daniel L. (Jennifer) Kohl of Lima, Richard L. (Tammy) Kohl of Columbus and Russell L. (Kristi) Kohl of Lima; four grandchildren: Allie Kohl, Brandon Kohl, Tayler Kohl and Trenton Kohl; and two brothers: Charles E. (Pat) Kohl II and Jack (Betty) Kohl, both of Sarasota, FL.
A son, Gregory L. Kohl, preceded him in death on Feb. 21, 1992.
Mr. Kohl retired as the owner from Snow Printing. He was a graduate of Lima Senior High School, a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015, in St. Gerard Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Gutman.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, from 2-4, and 6-8 p.m., in Siferd-Orians Funeral Home. A Parish Wake service will be held at 8:00 p.m., Tuesday in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Donate Life Ohio or registering to become a donor, since Don was a sixteen-year survivor of a double-lung transplant.
