Kathy Marie Blackburn

Kathy Marie Blackburn, 58, of Lima, formerly of Felicity, died at 3:54 p.m., Saturday, December 27, 2014, at St. Rita’s Medical Center. She was born Sept. 27, 1956, in Georgetown, OH to Robert and Shirley Marie (Mitchell) Sowers who preceded her in death.

Surviving are her fiancé, Daniel Monk of Lima; five children: Dawn (Robert) Charroud of Cincinnati, Melissa (fiancé Ezekiel “Bubba” Campbell, IV) Young of Lima, Teresa Ann Young, and twins, Ronald and Donald Shepherd both of Felicity; four siblings: Teresa (Ronnie) Barr and Joyce Sowers both of Bethel, Charlotte Sowers of New Richmond and Robert “Bobby” (Angie) Sowers of Felicity; ten grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Kathy loved to crochet, knit, cook, fish and was an adventurer.

Services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, at Church on the Rock, with Pastor Thomas Snyder officiating.
