

Lova L. Pinnow, 90, of Lima, died at 3:15 p.m., Thursday, July 8, 2010, at St. Rita’s Hospice. She was born Jan. 9, 1920 in Freeport, IL, to Ben and Flossie ( Keister ) Kline who preceded her in death. On Feb. 12, `1944, she married Lt. Norman F. Pinnow who survives.
Mrs. Pinnow retired in 1985 as a Lima City Schools cafeteria manager. She was a life member and past president of Phi Beta Psi Sorority. She was selected as Lima Y.W.C.A. 1993 Volunteer of the Year. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She loved her family, flower gardening and her doggies.
Survivors also include a son: David (Lee Anne) Pinnow of Stockbridge, GA; a daughter: Catherine (David) Patton of Summerville, S.C.; two granddaughters: Ginny Detweiler of Hickory, N.C. and Anna M. Pinnow of Stockbridge, GA; and two great-grandsons in Hickory, N.C.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Klatt; and a brother Wright Kline.
There will be no visitation. A private memorial service was held.
