Norma Jean Lambert, 84, of Lima, died at 10:46 a.m., Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Lima Memorial Health Systems. She was born July 4, 1933 in Nolan, WV to Isaac and Lula (Pinion) Harless who preceded her in death. On Aug. 7, 1954, she married Harold B. Lambert with whom she had enjoyed 63 years of marriage.
Also surviving are one daughter and four sons: Barbara (Thomas) Grumblis of Wapakoneta, Joe (Amy) Lambert of Cridersville, Dennis P. Lambert of New Bremen, Harold E. (Angela) Lambert of Cridersville and Jeff (Hazel) Lambert of Lima; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Pauline (Vern) Setters of Lima and a sister-in-law, Dolly Harless of Johnson City, TN.
She is preceded in death by eleven siblings: Dorothy Fields, Daisy Daniels, Birdie Marland, Ival Harless, Thomas J. Harless, Ironford Harless, Lucille Jude, Avonelle Shenk, Offitt Harless, Lewis Harless and Frank Harless.
Having her sons and daughter with their families meant the world to her on a holiday; that was the most special gift just seeing them all together. She loved them with all her heart. She enjoyed crocheting and collecting family photographs. Mrs. Lambert was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, Mar. 21, 2018 at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, with Rev. Jack Northup, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
