

Sharon Anne Conley, 75 years old, passed away at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Lima, Ohio September 18, 1939 to George and Juanita (Keeling) Quillin and they preceded her in death. She was married on July 2, 1964 to Andrew J. Conley who survives.
She is survived by her children, Catherine Marie (Troy) Freytag and Michael (Leslie) Conley both of Lima; Carla Mae (Nainash Patel) Baker and Cheryl Anne (Craig) Fraser both of Houston, Texas; her grandchildren, Andrew M. Freytag, Christin T. Wolfram, Elizabeth J. Gill, Corey M. Conley, Nicholas S. Nuttle, Hayley M. Freytag, Tyler R. Conley, Hillary A. Freytag, Quillin A. Fraser and Teagan L. Fraser. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Alessandra Freytag, Liam Gill, Emory Cheney and ‘one on the way’; she is also survived by her siblings Rita Wenger of Bluffton, Ohio and Janet Harper of Paxton, Illinois.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Christina Rae Conley, and two sisters, Alice Shaw and Mary Long.
Her life was devoted to her family. Mother to more than just her own children. She had a heart of gold and would give anything she had to make someone else happy. She always had a kind word to make others feel good and had a hug to make all their worries disappear. With a memory like a steel trap, she could remember a story about everyone she knew. She knew countless songs and poems by heart and was known for her flawless recitation of ‘Casey at the bat’. She was loved by so many, she will be truly missed. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, where she attended St. John school, and was a member of the VFW Auxiliary 1275.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015 at St. John Catholic Church, with Father Dave Ross as celebrant. Burial will follow in Gethsemani Cemetery.
