Beatrice Arleen Gray

Bea was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Gray, and her brothers, George Ahart and Ray Ahart. She is survived by her sister, Carol Birky; her nephews, Mark Ahart and Greg Ahart; and her nieces, Debbie Ahart and Dawn Kowalski.

Bea had a lifelong love for plants and animals, especially sheep and cats. She found great joy in raising and showing sheep, proudly competing at county fairs and major stock shows throughout the West Coast. Her dedication, knowledge, and passion for the livestock community were among her proudest accomplishments.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the California Wool Growers Association Scholarship Fund in honor of Bea’s enduring support of the agricultural community.
