Frank "Spike" Wilson, age 88 was born in Auburn, CA and passed away in Roseville, CA. He is survived by his wife, as well as two sisters, a son, stepchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his dog Pepper.
Married for 55 years. His nickname "Spike" may have contributed to his dry sense of humor. He enjoyed golf, tennis, water and snow skiing.
Attended Lincoln schools and graduated from Sierra College and Humboldt State. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany, and upon his honorable discharge became a smokejumper for the forest service.
He worked for Washington State, and retired from the State of California. Dearly loved.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
