Norberto Yabut Santos

Norberto Yabut Santos was born on June 2, 1942 in Pampanga, Philippines. He passed away peacefully at home in Lincoln, California. He is preceded in death by his father, Hal T. Santos, and his mother, Paz Miranda Yabut. He is survived by his wife Doris M. Santos. At an early age, Bert traveled from the Philippines to Guam to join his family. He met his wife, Doris Mendiola Benavente and were married on December 27, 1962. In 1965, he received his Certificate of Naturalization on Guam. He moved his family to Sacramento, California in 1968. Bert was blessed with four children, nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters, and countless friends. He was a good husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and a dear friend. He loved cooking, gardening, fishing and being a handyman for everyone. He will always be remembered for his kind and loving heart and his great sense of humor. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on April 13, 2017 (Private Services) at 2:00 pm at Lincoln Funeral Home, 406 H Street.
