Bernard is survived by his sister, Cynthia (James) Machacek Luciano; cousins; all the people at Beatrice State Development Center staff and friends.
Bernard was a true Cornhusker Fan who loved to show off his red and white stripe overalls in support. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church.
Bernard lived his life with a passion for dogs, puzzles, food, movies, cartons and making art work.
Visitation for Bernard will be held Friday, September 2, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68512.
Rosary will follow visitation on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 2:00 PM. The funeral service will follow the rosary on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 2:30 PM.
Interment will occur Friday, September 2, 2022 at Lincoln Memorial Park immediately following the service.
The family invites you to join them after the interment for a reception back at the funeral home in the garden view room.
