Betty Stewart, 88, of Lincoln passed away Friday, December 21, 2018. She was born November 25, 1930 to Harry and Thelma (Fergus) Meyer at Humboldt, NE. She was a graduate of Humboldt High School. Betty was united in marriage to Carl Stewart in 1952. Betty was a Cub Scout Den mother and an avid fan of all Husker sports; and she never missed her grandson’s ballgames. She was employed by the Lancaster County Assessor’s Office for 35 years. Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Elliott of Lincoln; son, Jeff (Melody) Stewart of Lincoln; grandson, Richard Stewart of Denver, CO; brothers in law and sisters in law as well as her grandpuppies. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Carl; brothers, Loren, Oren, Robert “Chub” and Donald. Services will be Friday, December 28, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
