Carol L. Henning

Carol L Henning, 87, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away May 26, 2026. She was born in San Francisco, California, on April 20, 1939. She was the daughter of Ferris and Marjorie Meyer. Carol was baptized at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, San Fracisco, California, and confirmed in faith in the Triune God at Christ Lutheran, rural Churdan, Iowa.

On September 4, 1960, she was united in marriage to Eldon Henning. They were blessed with four children; Alan, Ann, Lori and Julie. Carol was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church since 1961.

Carol is survived by her children; Alan (JoLynne), Ann (Blaise), Lori and Julie. Grandchildren; Brian, Ella, Sander, William, Kayla, Jenna, Eric, Alec and Arianna. Sister Barbara (Roger), brother-in-law Arnold (Loren) and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon, her parents Ferris & Marjorie, parents-in-law Richard and Vera, sister- and brother-in-law Darleen and Elmer, sisters-in-law Leanne, Gloria and Eleanor.

Private graveside services will be held Friday, June 12.
