Clancy was a big personality who loved the spotlight. It seemed everywhere he went in Lincoln, someone knew him. He worked for Goodyear in Lincoln for 44 years, retiring in 2003. He loved to tell a joke, pull a prank, and make people laugh. He loved history, playing sports, coaching sports, bowling, fishing, travel and most of all family. His Goodyear friends, bowling friends, his children’s friends, and every kid he coached were Family. He especially loved mentoring children. He coached softball, baseball, football, and basketball.
