Edwin C. Abbott (Bud) age 87 of Lincoln, died Saturday May 31, 2014. Born in Unityville, SD. Edwin enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and served during World War II and the Korean War. Upon his return to the United States he joined the U.S. Air Force and served until his retirement in 1974. Edwin is survived by his wife Dorothy ( Kay), sons Kent (Mardi), of Lincoln, and Jeffrey (Mary Ann) of Overland Park, KS, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. According to Edwin’s wishes, a private family graveside service will be held in his honor.
