Frances "Fran" A Lewis, died peacefully surrounded by her family on December 3, 2025, at the age of 77. Fran was born on December 28, 1947 in Beatrice, Nebraska to Edward and Mildred Engblom. She graduated from Adams High School. She married Dick Lewis on April 6, 1968.
Fran is survived by her sons, Matt (Car) Lewis of Cortland, NE and Nate (Heather) Lewis of Lincoln, NE. Fran was blessed with two grandchildren, CJ and Gabriel Lewis. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sister, Mary Jo.
Fran was a beloved mother, grandmother, and homemaker. When her sons started school, she went back to work in a bakery. While working at the bakery at Dallman's IGA, she found her love for cake decorating. For over 40 years, she made your "special day" even more special with her beautiful and delicious cakes. Family and friends would look forward to her "Fran cake."
Memorial service will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025 at 11 am at Panama Presbyterian Church at 205 Pine Street in Panama, NE. Celebration of Life at a later date. lincolnfh.com
