On March 14, 2022 Jeneane Louise (Halbur) Kepler went to join her Almighty Father, where He has told us He has gone to prepare a place for her. “Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.” John 14:1-3 (NASB)
Jeneane was 70, of Lincoln, born July 12, 1951 to Edwin and Velesta (Kunz) Halbur. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years David Kepler; 5 daughters, Jennifer (Craig) Moen, Laura (Ben) Hobbs, Kristin (Clint!) Runge, Erica (Ryan) Fry, Melissa Kepler; 1 brother, Chuck (Ellen) Halbur, grandchildren, Nathaniel Moen, Aiden Hobbs, Sabrina Kepler, Gage Hobbs, Jocelyn Moen, Olivia Moen, Ruby Runge, Cort Hobbs, Pace Runge and Reggie Runge; many other relatives and friends.
Jeneane filled her life with the raising, teaching, supporting, encouraging and loving of her children and grandchildren. She loved traveling with David and whoever else was free to join them. She liked to quilt and all the kids and grandkids have a piece that will always remind them of her.
