John M Braden age 71 of Lincoln, NE passed away on November 29, 2025. He was born December 11, 1953 in Crete, NE to Ray and Bobbie Braden. He graduated from Crete High in 1972 and joined the US Navy. He spent most of his time in Rota, Spain and then was discharged in 1976. He worked for Social Security until he retired.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother James and wife Gwen, his niece Bobbie (Len) Vogel and nephew Scott (Kate) Braden. Plus 3 great nieces, 1 great nephew and then 3 great great nieces.
John enjoyed old country music, bicycling, Nebraska football and the Lincoln Star Hockey games.
A graveside burial will be held in the spring.
Memorials maybe sent to the Parkinson's Foundation.
