He was born in Central City, Nebraska on October 27,1957 to John and Diane Vang (Stott). John liked to travel, and enjoyed being a truck driver for many years of his life. He later found joy working as a foreman for Paulsen. He had a mind for problem solving, and loved to put things together to make them work. His ability to make all laugh with his sense of humor and stories will carry on for years. He will be mourned in death by many who loved him dearly, and will be deeply miss by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his father, John A. Vang Jr. mother Diane (Stott) Vang, and older brother William Vang.
A gathering to celebrate John’s life will be held on October 25th, 2025 at 2:00 PM, Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home 6800 South 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68512.
