Karen L. Priest

Karen enjoyed being in nature, birdwatching and gardening. She especially loved her flowers, painting and animals.

Karen (Schilling) and LaVern Priest were married at Redeemer Lutheran Church on March 7, 1955 in North Platte Nebraska. They were blessed with 63 years of marriage and from this marriage came three wonderful children, Alan LaVern Priest, Brenda Lynn Sanchez, Jacklynn Marie Priest; Four grandchildren Brandon Priest, Tyson Priest, Jessica Priest, Jordan Sanchez; Five great grandchildren Alexis, Jacey, Delaney, Kinsley and Nathan Priest. She also leaves behind a sister Joan.

Preceded in death by her husband LaVern, parents Karl and Violet Schilling, sister Charlotte, brothers Art, Glen and Donald, Grandson Jordan and Granddaughter Jessica.

A graveside service for Karen will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Lincoln Memorial Park and Cemetery, 6700 South 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68512. Friends and family will meet at Gate #2 prior to the service. Condolences may be left at lincolnfh.com
