She graduated from College View High School in Lincoln in 1953. On August 14, 1954 she married Herbert F. Miller. Kathy worked at Russell Stovers and then went on to work at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln in the student union as a custodial supervisor until her retirement in 2009. She enjoyed gardening and visiting her sister in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Above everything else, she loved making special memories with her son, Randy, and grandchildren.
Kathy is survived by her son, Randy (Connie) Miller; grandchildren, Scott Miller, Brandon Miller, Katie (Cody) Sparks; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Janet Wehling; along with nieces, nephews, and cherished loved ones. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herbert; brothers, LeRoy Tucker, Walter "Dick" Tucker, Orrin Tucker, and Ronald Tucker.
A visitation for Kathryn will be held Sunday, March 9, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68512. A funeral service will occur Monday, March 10, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery. lincolnfh.com
