

Linda J. Silverstrand, a hard-working and kind-hearted soul, went to her eternal home on November 25, 2025, at the age of 79. Born in Beatrice, Nebraska, on January 9, 1946, to George and Norma Harms, Linda was known for her thoughtful, selfless, and humorous nature.
Linda attended Beatrice High School and Southeast Community College in Lincoln. She was a devoted mother who raised three children on her own, often working three jobs to support them. Her love for animals was evident as she cared for dogs, cats, and strays, and she extended her kindness to people in need as well. Linda enjoyed crocheting dolls and blankets, and was an avid reader. Her culinary skills were celebrated, especially her fried chicken, gravy, corn, and her famous taco salad, which were family favorites. She cherished spending holidays with her family in Beatrice.
Linda is survived by her daughter Kris Weideman, her son Jeff Parrish, her adopted daughter Rhonda Kuehn, her sisters Dianna Wolf and Debbie (Mike) Meagher, and her brother David (Vickie) Harms. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Norma Harms , her son Jonathan Fritzinger, her sisters Bonnie Biaggi and Joyce (Dewayne) Morrow, and her brother-in-law Clifford Wolf.
Linda's family would like to thank The Grace Space and St. Croix Hospice for all of their wonderful love and care.
A graveside service will be held at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery, located at 6700 South 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska, on December 2, 2025, at 11:00 am. Memorials to the family will be designated at a later date.
Linda's legacy of kindness and humor will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
